Basics of test equipment calibration and documentation of factory production control (GSB-007-EN)

Time and again, when reviewing the results of quality audits, we find that there are gaps in the documentation relating to the factory production control of system parameters or test specimens.
This is often due to a lack of knowledge, misinterpretation of guidelines, as well as hesitation or a lack of designated contact person.

With this event, we would like to give you the opportunity to take a step back from your own daily processes and adopt an objective perspective to identify potential for improvement. It is often small things that lead to significant simplifications in day-to-day operations with minimal effort.

In addition to the question of what makes a measuring instrument a test instrument, it must be clarified whether and how equipment should be monitored.

As GSB staff and the inspectors deployed have a broad network and extensive practical experience, they can provide various examples of how to carry out and document in-house production control.

Which solution is the right one depending not only on the level of the quality seal and additional seal but also significantly on environmental conditions that are difficult for you to influence, such as the plant’s technical equipment, staff qualifications, available machinery, and ultimately your customers’ orders.

The course concludes with a test. The test comprises 10 multiple-choice questions, each with 4 possible answers, only one of which is correct. The test will be sent by email afterwards and must be returned to the GSB office within 24 hours.

Upon successful completion of the test, you will receive a certificate of attendance. Documented attendance fulfils the requirements of the GSB quality guidelines AL 631-1 / GSB ST 663-1, Chapter 7.
