A pre-treatment that has been approved by GSB International and an approved coating material must be used for the coating of components.
The coating must be in accordance with the current version of GSB AL 631. The company performing the work is a certified member of GSB International. When carrying out the work, a Factory Production Control (FPC) in accordance with GSB AL 631 must be performed.

Quality samples and test reports — which, as well as the project description, provide information on all significant properties of the coating — must be produced with the coating. It is advisable to specify and approve for implementation the requested colours, the colour uniformity and the uniform surface finish (gloss and structure) of all components using quality and/or limit value samples. The test protocols and test sheets must be stored by the coater for the duration of the agreed warranty.
